Sara Combs LAc.
Hello there! My name is Sara Combs and I am a Licensed Acupuncturist and looking forward to working with you all here at Caldwell Family Wellness on Monday and Wednesday mornings.
I’d like to take a moment to introduce myself. Academically I have a Bachelor Degree in Health Science, Masters in Oriental Medicine and also a doctorate in Oriental Medicine with a focus on integrative care. I was raised right here in small-town Ohio and went to school for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Dragon Rises College in Gainesville, Florida. There I received training in acupuncture, herbal medicine, food therapy, cupping, guasha, moxibustion, and a unique diagnostic style of pulse diagnosis ( the Shen Hammer pulse system). All this training helped me as a practitioner to treat the symptoms a person is experiencing as well as the root of the issue.
I also studied the ancient art of Tai Chi, which I am excited to share with my patients to further empower them to heal themselves.
I enjoy treating a diverse population including veterans, patients suffering from pain, women’s health issues, geriatric patients, and many more. I have a passion for treating those suffering from mental and emotional issues, including PTSD, depression, and anxiety.
I am an avid reader and I enjoy spending time outdoors in the sunshine. I was a patient before I became a practitioner and found acupuncture and herbal medicine worked so well for me that I devoted my life to helping others with this medicine.
I am excited to be back home, where my roots are, and so many of my loved ones. I hope to give back to the community by providing affordable, accessible care to those who are seeking healing and a better quality of life.
