Esly Caldwell, LAc, has been an acupuncturist for over 15 years. He graduated from the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine (ATOM) in Fort Lauderdale with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. He is nationally board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine (Dipl OM), which includes full certification in acupuncture as well as Chinese herbal medicine.
Esly is the former president of the Ohio Acupuncture Association and has been actively involved for several years in advocacy efforts supporting acupuncture throughout Ohio.
He is trained in all principal areas of Chinese Medicine, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, food therapy, Tui Na (bodywork), and Qi Gong (breath, movement, and meditation). Esly incorporates a wide range of treatment techniques such as acupuncture, moxibustion, gua sha, cupping, rolling, Tui Na, and acupressure to create individualized treatment plans for his patients.
He is a senior certified Non-Somatic Extraordinary Vessel (NSEV) practitioner and completed a two-year apprenticeship in Miami Beach with NSEV founder Daniel Atchison-Nevel. He has also taught NSEV “Entering the Vessels” workshops around the country, sharing this specialized approach with both practitioners and students.
In addition to his clinical work, Esly is a yoga, Qi Gong, and meditation instructor and has taught workshops for both laypeople and healthcare practitioners.
At our Cincinnati acupuncture practice, Esly specializes in treating conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, knee pain, arthritis, sports injuries, infertility, and digestive disorders.
